Italy and the Balkans: Scattered to widespread thunderstorm activity is forecast with pulsating storms / a few organized multicells. The following hazards are expected: waterspouts and a good amount of convectively enhanced rainfall amounts. Highest peaks may occur over central Italy and along the E-coast of the Adriatic Sea.

Rain showers possibly heavy and thundery at times all week over Morocco, Italy and the Balkans with northern Spain and southern France being similarly affected from Monday to Wednesday and on Sunday.
Greece should also get some rain showers or thunderstorms on Monday and over the weekend. Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms can also be expected over Turkey and Cyprus from Monday to Wednesday, over Algeria from Monday to Wednesday and also on Sunday, over northern Tunisia on Wednesday and over northwestern Libya from Wednesday to Friday. Western Turkey should get more rain over the weekend too.
It is expected to be windy in the Alboran Channel on Tuesday, in the central Mediterranean on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, in the Gulf of Lyon from Wednesday till Friday and in the northern Aegean from Friday to Sunday.
